About Bebono Weddings

The Bebono team

Klara, founder, wedding planner Provence
(lead miracle maker)
:
"The idea of founding Bebono came to me in 2017 while I was working as an in-house wedding planner for a venue in London. I always enjoyed the
process of planning, from the initial enquiry until months later all the ideas and work we put in it came to reality. Widening the spectrum was always my goal to help brides not only within a certain venue but to help them from the moment they are engaged. I understand how after posting all those "He asked...!" and "She said yes!" snaps on instagram a bride-to-be can feel overwhelmed or lost where to start -how to start.

Prior to starting my own business I have worked as an Event Planner in London and in Dublin. I organised weddings but also corporate events from fashion shows to charity auctions. From venues in the heart of London to deserted islands, from backyard weddings to Michelin starred affairs I have pretty much everything under my belt.

I wanted to involve the people I trust and I know that their experts in their fields.
Szandra who is also coincidentally my best friend from college always had an eye for the finest things in life.

We also have our in-house wine and culinary expert Pierre-Marie Faure who is 3 Michelin Star sommelier by day.
Nikolett, the newest addition to our team was already running a successful family business when she said yes to joining us.

Our packages start from a coffee morning of planning for those who need a little pointer on kicking things off to our all-inclusive package for those who want everything to be taken care of from the enquiry to putting your last guests in a taxi on the big day."

Expert in action

Pierre, wine and food consultant (our inhouse MS candidate and bookworm):
"Food and wine is always a focal point of your big day for multiple reasons: firstly you want to make sure that your guests having a good time and food and wine definitely helps with that also it is a big chunk of your budget regardless the style you are going for.

I know no compromise when it comes to quality in any area of my life so naturally this also translates into my work. This enabled me to work with the biggest names in the industry with several 3 Michelin star establishments under my belt.
Food and wine pairing is a true passion of mine. For a newly engaged couple  it can be a daunting task to balance quantity and quality when it comes to larger parties and pleasing crowds. This requires indepth knowledge of wine market, the producers and their styles keeping in mind the clients' expectations in taste and budget. This is what makes weddings an exciting challenge for me. I have the means and the connections in the industry to provide you with the best options for your party."

The Fine Details

Szandra, creative consultant, wedding planner Hungary (definitely our Posh Spice):

"I've been working as an interior designer for over 12 years helping people create bathrooms that are truly an island of peace in their own homes. I've always loved finding creativity and beauty to match my clients taste. I've always had a desire to express my creativity in a different way as well but it wasn't until my cousin asked me to help her planning her big day that the idea of turning my attention to weddings occurred to me. The timing coincided with the phone call from Klara. Making it happen with my best friend is only a plus!

Let it be a lavish refined elegance, a  French rustic dècor or a Superhero themed wedding you are looking for you can be sure we know how to make it the most memorable bespoke day of your life."

The Greek island miracle

Nikolett, wedding planner Corfu (power mum):
"
Organising has always been my passion since childhood. Still makes me smile how I enjoyed to help my teacher planning events and being in the middle of it all.

This really lead to why I chose this profession and in 2014 I officially became an event and conference organiser and tour operator.

In 2014 after my exams I moved to Corfu, to make my dreams come true. I still live here, I learned greek, and I got to know the local customs.

Until now I mainly organised trips and excursions and assisted our tourist groups with everything they needed on our beautiful greek island.
I was so glad when Klara contacted me to join Bebono Weddings. I am now taking my dream further as a wedding planner.

If you imagine your dream wedding at the most green Greek island, Corfu, don’t hesitate, I will be here to help every step of the way!"
